I had to make a day trip to my doctor in Hollywood and decided to take a rental car instead of my own. It was super easy to to reserve a car on line and was able to take a few moments to give information to decrease the amount of time I needed to spent actually getting my rental. The experience with the car I got was fabulous, it was a dream to drive, and it was the perfect fit for me. I will absolutely use Enterprise again and highly recommend Enterprise!!!!
Busy place but employees quite helpful & courteous. Friendly & polite.insurance is quite steep get it on weekly rate when rent weekly not daily rate.
Bad Service! My husband and I went into Enterprise Rental in Porterville, CA at 7:30 AM to rent a car only to be treated with poor service. First we were never told we needed a utility bill to rent a car, therefore we had to go back home out of Porterville to get one. Then as we return back to Enterprise the girl clerk hesitates to rent us a car by saying that we did not own a major credit card and they didn't accept debit cards. I asked her why weren't we told this before we went to get the utility bill? She tried to argue with me about how I was in there before when they had just opened at 7:30 and it was 8 AM. I told her that we were in there when they had just opened up and we first spoke to a man named Mat who told us all we needed was a utility bill to go get one, therefore we left and now we were back. She didn't like that. The next thing she brought up to discourage us from renting a car was that she was going to have to down grade us from the size car we requested to a smaller car because we didn't own a major credit car. This is when I became UPSET and loud with the girl because it was so obvious that she was making it difficult for us to pleased with the whole idea of renting from Enterprise. As soon as I became upset she quickly changed her mind about down grading the car and told me she would go ahead and approve my request for the car we were wanting. Now, mind you we have been there twice in one morning and by now we have been in there approx. 45 minutes. Feeling upset already by this girl she then tells us that we need to wait a while because the car she is letting us rent needs cleaning and it will take some time. Again, displeasing us. By the time we drove out of Enterprise with our rental we had been there an hour in a half. To boot the car only has a quarter tank of gas which of coarse we need to stop to fill it up to get to our destination, wasting more time! These people have no consideration to the costumers needs and/or wants. Or have any intentions pleasing their paying costumers. The girl clerk needs more education on how to relate to customers to meet their needs instead of showing her authority and prejudicial ways to costumers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ENTERPRISE FROM PORTERVILLE TO NO ONE!!! (description of the girl clerk: Long black hair. Maybe Hispanic.) P.S Car description Dodge Journey white not cleaned as expected it to be and the car pulled to the right hand side as your drove it.
I had a reservation made through AAA Which is a great service. Enterprise refused to answer my phone as I got close time 15 min to closing time! Then I showed up 3 min tell closing time and they avoided me untel 5:30 when they closed. Mean time I've been on the hold which recorded voice says they go the extra mile and family Owens business makes a difference. What a joke the guy said as he was rushing away from me "yep we are closed help you in the morning." I said "what about family Owens and going out he extra Mile" he said... "yep sorry we are closed." Won't ever give them my service again!
I have rented several times from here and was very happy with my experience.
